This was an interesting story I came across today about the biggest house in America coming up for sale for $65 million (see article). When you look a little closer you find out it’s unfinished and the owner was a wealthy time-share executive whose dream of building a home similar to Versailles came crashing down with the economy. One could say this story is as extreme an example as one could find about foreclosure, but has a lot of similarity (in the extreme) to most foreclosures. While this is not a foreclosure property yet, I would guess it will be. I’ll also guess that they won’t see anywhere near a $65 million sale price.
